15th March 2017

Good evening everyone,

Its been a few days of doing nothing and killing time but today is a different matter! The new cooker was installed today, arranged by SSAFA and paid for by my Regimental Benevolent Fund, thank you both.

Today was a glorious day, well once the mist had burnt off, we headed in to Swansea, got what we needed and headed back. I had lunch in my favourite cafe in Limeslade Bay, just before that I popped along the coast path, its an old spot for Cetacean watching for me. I spotted Harbour Porpoise (there proper name) feeding close to the rocks on the incoming tide, there were 4/5 including a baby. This along with some of the bird and insect life cheered me up a lot. After lunch I went back to watching them feeding for around an hour.

I headed home and found Help for Heroes had emailed me about the recent mental health problems I've had since December (I was diagnosed with reactive depression in 2007), I filled in the survey and within an hour they were phoning me and going through what has being going on. I also have an appointment on the 28th March in Swansea...

A bit of a surprise today, the council contacted me about doing a witness impact statement for the courts about the problem with the noise upstairs, they also want to istall some sound recording equipment apparently, I'll wait and see.

Tomorrow I head back to Neath Tesco to cover the Briton Ferry and Port Talbot areas.
