26th February 2017

Good afternoon everyone,

Its another horrible day, no graveyards today due to the weather, just churces and chapels. From what I photographed today ther were three recorded and eight new memorials. For the first time since starting this phase of the trip I have found more new/unrecorded memorials than were already recorded.

County

All Done New
West Glamorgan 148 87 (59%) 157 (106%)

One of the first this morning was on Garngoch Common, a hard bogey walk to it, a few woodcock flushed on the way, it was a stone commemorating the Battle of Gower, New Years Day 1136, it was then on to Fforestfach and trying to find churches open, you would think they all would be, nope, still need to go back to do them.

I do need to say thank you to my sister's family, Clare, Dorian, Rhianon and Catrin for looking after myself and Missy during this rough weather we are having. Its also enabled be to cover the north of Swansea.
