21st February 2017

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was a good day, out and about around Morriston doing graves and memorials, there were two unrecorded churches with nine new memorials between them. I did struggle with one of the graveyards, all the headstones were in Welsh, I did learn a bit of Welsh when I first went to school but not to the extent of these. Some of the boys from the Regiment are going to help me translate some common words I find on headstones in English. I was a long day, out by 0815hrs and then back in by 1630hrs, to be honest a lot of it was sitting around waiting for churches to be unlocked.

The weather yesterday wasn't brilliant, today is even worse! I don't think I'll be going far today.

I am feeling a little better over the last day, suspect being away from the flat is doing me some good, I've not heard anything from the council. I haven't heard anything back about the kitten in Manchester either...
