5th February 2017

Evening everyone,

Well the weather has been a lot better this weekend, I headed out yesterday to Clydach, it ended up being a bit of a washout day as it were, the churches were locked and I only found three out of the seven plus graves that I needed to find. All the likely looking graves weren't war graves. I need to go back as I missed the Hospital by accident, it is a War Memorial Hospital.

Today was another nice day, improved by the rugby, I headed out to visit three churches, the first one was still having a service and was having a meeting after, I saw two memorials just inside the door so will have to go back.

The second church was a bit more education, the pulpit was a memorial to men of World War One and World War Two, then the bit of education, in 1941 a land mine was dropped by the Germans and it hit the roof, it exploded and did some damage, the repairs are still visible, I was told that none of windows were damaged in the explosion. On the windows, its is the only church in Swansea with glass made at Swansea Glass...

Tomorrow is again meant to be wet :(
