8th November 2016

Good evening everyone,

Yesterday was a long hard day, mainly because of the teperature and the wind, the batteries on the scooter just like torch, car and other types are affected by the cold. Because of this I had to change route plans to Midsomer Norton and take a longer route but one where I would go through areas where I would be able to get a charge. Being careful about my power meant I could stray of the route much to do churches and graves on the way.

I arrived in Midsomer Murders (Norton) and the Tesco staff were expecting me, it sounds daft as I all ways pre-arrange the stops but messages don't get passed on. Last night was fun, two lads with BB guns sat near myself and Peter and then two push bikes stolen from near to us, to be honest I thought it was the same lads that rode in on them.

This morning was a tired get up and go, the morning shift didn't know about me being there and were a tad loud at times :'( When I did stir I wasn't my usual bright cheery self, I was feeling a "bit off colour", I still headed out but stayed fairly local, saying that I still managed to do fifteen miles! I managed to get my head down for a snooze this afternoon with Smudge cwtched up with me, Missy was being a tart and wanting to say hello to everyone outside! Its amazing what you hear when the side is shut and people don't realise your in there... After the nap I did feel better and managed some food. Its sarted raining tonight, hopefully it will clear by morning so I can do some of the villages.

I nearly forgot, I've had the War Memorial Data through for Wales, it looks like it is hugely under recorded, its also in the old pre 90's countys so I need to plough through it all and change data before I can even start!

Friday I will head down to the Cenootaph at eleven o'clock and then Sunday I will be in Frome for the service, just need to sort out where it is...
