Good evening everyone,

I'll start with Ilminster Tesco, besides it being a wonderful store and the staff looking after us brilliantly it has a large pedestrianised area where I have to plug in, this means I can put Missy on her flexi-lead to explore the bushes and Smudge can be let off to wander safely. Smudge being off the lead has caused much merriment at times, two mornings on the trot he followed me in store and sat on the mat by the security pedestal and patiently waited for me, staff thought it was wonderful and the looks on some of the customers faces were a real treat!

Not had a good time with the scooter, two punctures in two days, no more for a while please. Another problem I had yesterday was being hit in the eye by a very small beetle, it discharged something whilst it was in my eye which stung like nobodys business, my eye watered for a good two to three hours after, again,, no more of that please.

Today was a steady drive out to the northern edges of the Quantocks to cover ground I couldn't do last year, I headed out along cycle route 3 along the Bridgwater canal and everytime I came to an overbridge it was fun, my little flashy light would catch the edge, reverse back, move closer to the water, not a happy bunny, I had a brain wave just lower the seat backwards! That made life a lot easier. The hills wern't to bad either, I had expected them to be worse looking at the contours on the map. I had hoped to head out tomorrow to get a lot more done but having been in more than half a dozen churches today that are preparing Harvest Festival celebrations I don't think I'll be getting much done, I think it will end up as a days admin...

One thing I will add, I'm feeling absolutly shattered at the moment, its not helped by the council road sweeper going up and down sweeping outside the pub at 0550hrs this morning :(
