Day 608 - 5th January 2014

Bulwark to Winterbourne

Good evening everyone,

An easier day today, only a short hop in comparison to what I have done over the last few days. I was able to cross the old Severn Crossing with ease, which I didn't expect, strangly I was wooried about hieghts as I went over, haven't worried about that for years!

I pottered on through the lanes until I hit the A38, then it was not the full assault on the senses of a busy A road, it was plesent, nowhere near as busy as I thought it would be. I followed the route planned for me by Google (cycling) and was soon passing a Tesco, well not quite, I was passing a huge shopping complex at Bradley Stoke, Tesco was just part of it, I've had the odd problem at these in the past, not this time Tesco phoned the centre management, after a few minutes not a problem at all, thank you Willow Brook Centre, I wish all the shopping complexes were as good as you!

After a good charge and Missy playing as normal I headed off towards my stop for the night, as it turned out only three miles down the road, the GPS before the stop was reporting more than nine miles! Anyway I turned up at the new Winter Stream Farm and after a quick phone call by the staff was soon plugged in, they have fed me tea all afternoon, for a teaholic - heaven, not sure I'll have any room for beer!

Tomorrow, Beckington and the Woolpack, isn't that on Corronation Street?
