Day 607 - 4th January 2015

Penarth to Bulwark (Chepstow)

Good evening ladiers, gentlemen, boys and girls,

Well I can honestly say I was shattered last night, I was in bed by 2130hrs and out like a light! The downside was the power was turned off and I didn't know until the wee small hours, this was to have a huge knock on for me today with flat phone, tablet and other odds and sods not behaving, it made for a long hard day having to stop for a couple of charges...

I did however stop in Tesco Pengam Green for a charge, a cuppa and a bite to eat, later at the Fayre and Square in Langstone, the cats were spoilt at both as normal and I was treated to a cuppa at the later, thank you both.

A couple of cyclists stopped to talk today and I picked their brains about the original Severn crossing, they think I should get across without a problem, therefore Bristol tomorrow night...

It has been a cold grey day today with the wind chill hovering around 0 centigrade all day, I was envious of the cats in the trailer!

I was treated to tea and a pint tonight at the Two Brewers in Bulwark, thank you.

More tomorrow...
